Is it possible to have a sample invitation made up?

Yes.

If you've a design in mind, along with a colour scheme then we can work together to make your dream invitation. 

If you take a look in my 'Create the Design' tab, you can find lots of useful items to help you create your dream stationery.

I always advise on having a sample invitation as this is the best way of seeing my work and know how much information can be popped into the invitation. 

There is a small charge of £2.25 per sample, including postage. 

Please double check I'm available to complete your order before ordering samples and if able to we can proceed from there and I can give you details for payment for the sample.

Detailing for personalisation:

What invitation styles you’d like to see - both day and evening designs,

Colour scheme,

Embellishment or roses,

Printed on white or ivory card,

Your Names - as you'd like them to appear,

How you'd like the invitation addressed - from yourselves, parents or together with parents,

Wedding date,

Church/Venue Address and Post Code,

Times for both and evening receptions

and Postal address for the sample.

Do you require a deposit on invitation orders?

Yes.

There is a £25.00 deposit to secure your invitations into my diary.

As a general rule, invitations are popped into my diary around 7 months before your wedding. 

For example, if your getting married July, the completion month needed would be January. However, this is subject to availability and an alternative will be suggested if already full. 

Please secure a slot as far in advance as needed be. It's never too early!!!! Like photographers and venues, I get booked up years in advance.

What happens when my order is due for completion?

Around a month before the wedding, I will be in contact with you to send over a word document for you to complete and send back.

Here you can list all your wedding day details and information, as well as colour schemes, invitation designs. embellishments to be used.

The information given on the document will be copied and pasted into your invitation template so it's advised that you ensure that it's worded correctly before sending back to myself. It's always useful to get family and friends to read over the document too, as they may see bits you may have missed.

Do you recommend ordering spares in my invitation order?

Yes.

When it comes to making your invites, I always recommend ordering around 10% spare invitations.

Not only does it help you if you make a mistake or forget inviting a guest, it also saves me time in going back and making extras. By then I’m working on other orders so may take a few weeks to get your extras to you.

Can the invitation be made to suit colour schemes?

Yes.

I have a wide variety of card stock and ribbon choices to tie the invitations together.

I have many widths to choose from with ribbon choices, so we can work together to see what works best.

Do you stock different embellishments to add to my stationery?

I have many different embellishments which can be used on your stationery.

All of these can be found in my 'Create the design' tab.

I don't currently have the room for stocking the embellishments at home, so I buy as I go. If your needing extras please advise me when your invoice is popped together so I know to orders extras.

Is it possible to have a face to face consultation?

Providing you can make your way to my address in Shirley/Solihull, Birmingham, West Midlands then yes.

We will need to find a day to suit both parties.

Do I need to live locally to you to place an order?

No.

I deal with many couples from all over the UK.

Either messaging through facebook or email, we can discuss your requirements to make sure the order is satisfactory.

Can I collect the finished order rather than send in the post?

Yes.

If you decide to collect from me then this is not a problem.

We can work on a collection day to suit both parties.

Is their a discount on price for a multiple/large orders?

Unfortunately, no.

As all my work is handmade, I feel that the individual price of each item is reflected in the time and quality put into each item.

Do you hire easels for your mirrored table plans?

At present, I don’t currently have any to hire.

Check with your venue as they’ll more than likely have an easel to place this on.

Once I have a hold of one, they’ll be detailed on my website.

Do I post outside of the UK?

Unfortunately, no.

Overseas orders are not something I wish to  for fill at this moment in time.

How much do you charge to post orders?

Depending upon the items and numbers within the order, the weight will be taken into consideration to work out the Postage costs.

My items are either sent through Royal Mail signed for or Parcel Force 48.

 

Save the Date charges are as follows:

0-60 Save The Dates £3.75

61-85 Save The Dates £6.50

86+ Save The Dates £10.00

 

Invitation charges:

This will depend on the style and weight of your final order.

As a guide, a smaller invitation order will cost around £6.50, a medium order around £11.50 and a large order £15.00.

 

Table Plan charges are as follows:

Small Table Plan £5.00

Medium Table Plan £7.50

Large Table Plan £9.50

Mirrored Table Plans - Collection only

 

Guest Book, Table Numbers, Place Cards charges are as follows:

£3.00

 

Post Box charges are as follows:

£7.50

 

Items can be combined together.

For example, if you’ve placed an order for wedding day items such as a Table Plan, Post Box, Place Cards, Table Numbers, Menus and Guest Book.

This will cost £14.00

Terms and Conditions

When placing an order with ‘Jen’s Hand Crafted Stationery’, you are accepting the following terms and conditions:

  • The deposit listed on the invoice must be paid within four weeks from the date the invoice was sent. This will then confirm the slot of your invitations in my diary and the price of the items at the time of ordering. 
  • Failure to send the payment within the four week time scale my result in your slot being lost, as if possible moved to a different month or invoice cancelled.
  • Deposit is non refundable once paid.
  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice. Any price increase will not affect confirmed orders that have been secured with deposits. Goods will only be dispatched when the final balance for the order has been received and cleared.
  • Prices include typesetting and layout and printing of your stationery. Prices include envelopes with the following items: Save The Dates, Wedding Invitations, Evening Invitations, R.S.V.P’s and Thank You Cards.
  • Your order will only be released on receipt of full payment.
  • When completing the ‘Wording Document’ for your invitations, which allows you to amend, correct and add any additional information to the invites, it is your sole responsibility to ensure that all the wording and grammar are correct before sending back to myself. I will use ‘Copy and Paste’ from the document, into your invitation template to avoid any mistakes my end.
  • I advise that you order an extra 10% of invitations to your order to allow for any missed guests or writing errors. 
  • All invitations are hand crafted so there may be slight variations. This will not however affect the design or quality of the stationery.
